Paris – Getting Settled in the 19th Century
Land in Paris and take your first steps along the cobbled stone. Aromas seep out from bakeries and bistros; everyday buildings have a dedication to the ornate; church bells chime as chatter emanates from an alfresco terrace. Your hotel is amid Paris from the 19th century, a web of narrow streets framed by extravagant architecture. Its beauty and charm are such that you can see why the locals were so unhappy with the Eiffel Tower; the tower can be found downriver and is a sharp contrast to the style of the neighborhood you are staying in. You’re transferred to the hotel and have this day free. Wander the 19th-century neighborhood, take a stroll along the Seine, sample Parisian delicacies, and settle yourself into the City of Lights.

Everything went well, as planned, with only two minor issues: on the visit to Versailles with a guide, when attempting to enter the gardens with the guide, she noticed that she did not have the proper tickets, but a quick phone call to the travel company and the guide was given the go-ahead to pay for the ticket to access the garden; as we had not received one voucher necessary to enter an abbey on a self-guided tour, we had the vouchers for the audio guides, but not for the entrance to the abbey, and again, a quick phone call to the travel company, the vouchers were sent immediately.
The preparation for the trip went smoothly with a phone call from Paris to our home and then various messages and changes through Zicasso. Payments were made without problems and suggestions were provided in view of our budget and interests.

Zicasso’s travel company and the travel agent were wonderful to work with and made our Paris trip très magnifique! We were a little last-minute in our planning and the travel company helped us book everything we wanted to do! From a skip-the-line tour at the Musée d'Orsay, a private Seine River cruise, a private biking tour of Versailles, to hard-to-get top of the Eiffel Tower tour tickets, the travel company booked it all for us and made it happen! We had the trip of a lifetime thanks to the travel agent and the travel company!

Zicasso’s travel agent was phenomenal to work with. We were looking for an exclusive, luxury visit to France, with a deep dive into history, art, culture, and food. The accommodations were exquisite and the private guides were open, friendly, and had amazing knowledge of art, architecture, history, and culture. The trip exceeded our expectations. We highly recommend the travel company and will work with the travel agent on future trips without hesitation.

We had a short but action-packed week: three nights in Rome and four nights in Paris. Our Zicasso travel specialist was terrific to work with, very responsive in planning and execution. Accommodations, guides, and activities were all first class and well balanced. We saw all the appropriate sites (Vatican, Colosseum, Louvre, Versailles, Eiffel Tower) and had some great alternative activities (Vespa sidecar tour, cooking and bakery classes, Paris sewer tour!). VIP service at the airports was a game changer. We'll be back.

Every single detail of our trip was absolutely perfect, from the planning stage through to the execution. Despite the fact that our party included three generations (my young children, as well as my father and his partner), Zicasso's travel specialist arranged an itinerary that included a wonderful mix of activities that everybody could enjoy.
During the planning phase, she listened to all of our requests and crafted an itinerary taking them all into account. All of the guides were wonderful and the travel arrangements were seamless throughout. When our trip to Versailles had to be cancelled due to the U.S. president's visit, she managed to quickly arrange an alternate date for the visit.
We could not have had a more enjoyable trip and I thoroughly recommend our travel specialist to anybody considering a trip to France.

London and Paris did not disappoint. We had a wonderful time and the arrangements made by the Zicasso travel agency were great. We packed a lot into the seven days we had there. The London day tour was wonderful! The guide was so great!!!! Paris was great too and we had awesome weather for the entire trip. The travel agent was extremely helpful and so kind and cheerful. Our favorite in London was the walking tour with our guide. Our favorite in France was Giverny.
