One of them is your hotel, a beautiful five-star Renaissance villa, an ode to a period of history that always embraced romance. You'll be greeted at the airport and transferred to the hotel, where the afternoon and evening is at your leisure. A welcome romantic dinner at the hotel's restaurant is included, a chance to absorb the beauty of the building and your surroundings.

Detailed Description
Germany's landscape offers an array of pleasures. There's the old-world atmosphere of cobblestones and castles, of medieval town squares and vineyards cascading across river valleys. Then you find the cities, rich in architectural and artistic treasures, delighting in a splendor that moves across the eras. This unique luxury itinerary combines the two sides to Germany, taking you through the backcountry to the opulence of its fabled cities. There's always surprise on the way, from spa indulgence in the Black Forest to 18th-century palaces surrounded by private gardens. Enhancing the journey is a selection of the country's finest accommodation; converted castles, spa hotels, Renaissance heritage buildings, and the boutique charm found in a town from the Middle Ages.
Begin in Frankfurt, a city that symbolizes the contrasting styles of Germany. History hides beneath futuristic skyscrapers as you spend a few nights in the Renaissance beauty of the city's finest five-star hotel. Spend a day on a cruise for two, journeying along the River Rhine, absorbing medieval castles that stand above a patchwork of vineyards and flowers. Then move on to the Black Forest, a haven of spas and culinary charms. Next, it's along the foothills of the Alps, to medieval towns and the castles from fairytales. Travel by horse and carriage to the castle that inspired Sleeping Beauty, and immerse yourself in the forested hills of a Bavarian spa resort. There are extra treats along the way, like private dining in a pudelstein hut and traveling in an Aagland carriage.
Munich is a city of palace and gardens, where opulent expressions of history combine with the cozy atmosphere of the old taverns and halls. The romantic road continues on day eight, stopping at the Gothic and gabled wonders of Rothenburg, then onwards with a sparkling wine picnic lunch. Dresden is enveloped in Baroque treasures and has been beautifully restored over the last few centuries. The luxury itinerary ends in Berlin, a capital city that's easy to explore together. Two tours reveal two distinctive eras from history and the itinerary is designed to provide lots of free time to take in Germany just for two.

We took an unusual, self-guided trip from Munich to Norderney and back, tracing our family roots. It was a wonderful time! The accommodations arranged by Zicasso's travel agency were excellent. We had good communication with our agent throughout. He added personal transportation to and from the Munich airport. Overall, we found Germany to be a wonderful country and the agency to be a good company to deal with.

From the moment we landed in Germany to the moment we left, the trip was incredibly well planned and tailored specifically to what we were interested in, but with the expert knowledge of Zicasso's travel agent and our tour operator to guide us toward our best possible experience.
DO IAfter receiving the initial itinerary proposal from him, we had a helpful phone conversation to talk about our family "must-do's." The itinerary was adjusted accordingly and was perfect. Every day had a memorable experience and everything went smoothly!
I cannot recommend this tour company any higher. If you are considering working with our travel agent and his colleague, do it. I am already trying to determine when we can return to Germany and work with them to plan our Germany vacation (part two)!

It was a very good trip. It was pretty well planned, with great hotels and scenery, and we loved the train trips. A suggestive comment would be to steer the old folks (like us) away from the hotel; it seemed too "young" for my crowd.

We had a fantastic trip to Germany and Austria. Zicasso's travel partner arranged the trip for us and everything went perfectly. I can't speak highly enough of her and her skills at arranging a perfect vacation for our family of four. She was easy to reach and quick to respond to any questions, and gave good advice on what to see and concentrate on in Germany. I enthusiastically recommend this agency to anyone interested in touring Europe.
