The trip was very good. We loved Panama City and the excursions we took there. Our disappointment concerns Bocas del Toro and what we were led to believe there. The beach conditions on all of Isla Bastimentos were not favorable for swimming or snorkeling. The seas were too rough, although that was not communicated to us.

Zicasso’s travel agent was very competent and patient with us about our needs and wants, and was very accommodating regarding changes to the trip. Panama is a beautiful country, with great people and amazing animal diversity. We saw lots of birds and monkeys. And the beaches we visited were the most inviting ever!!

We had a wonderful, flawless trip to Panama, arranged by Zicasso's tour company.

Overall, the trip was great. We like the way Zicasso works and appreciated the Zicasso travel specialist's help.
The hotels (our hotel in Arenal and our hotel in Tamarindo) were both lovely.
There was some difference between the activities as described and as we experienced them. For example, a different company was used than was advertised for our ziplining trip. Additionally, some transfers were not needed (for example, to a surfing lesson that was literally less than a half a mile away).

Zicasso's travel agency did an incredible job planning our trip to Panama. I think the biggest plus in using a travel company as opposed to designing the trip myself was the help in designing the trip, as well as the seamless transportation to and from activities/destinations.
Furthermore, the private behind-the-scenes tour they chose for the Panama Canal was an excellent choice, as we greatly enjoyed our time there and would not have if we'd been stuck in the long line and behind the fence like the majority of tourists there. The travel agent did an amazing job in designing the tour and supporting us along the way.
