Cape Town – Touching Down in the Mother City

Table Mountain stands majestic with the vertical face seeming to rise out of the city with the towering summit standing over the frothy waves of the Atlantic Ocean. The mountain is the compass point, the landmark that will guide your exploration over the next two days. On the journey from the airport, you will see Table Mountain, but before exploring it, you will journey along its hidden back slopes where the vineyards spread out between the trees for a sensual welcome to the country. A platter of charcuterie will accompany a guided tasting to introduce you to the flavors of South Africa and its famous local Pinotage.

The vineyards of Constantia are a perfect stop on route from the airport, and a great place to relax after your flight. Enjoy the dramatic views of the city and sit back as different wines are poured for your enjoyment. From here, your guides will take you along the mountain's base and into the city, to your hotel in Green Point. The 5-star Cape Royale enjoys incredible views over the ocean and is situated in an ideal position within the city. You are just a five-minute walk to the V & A Waterfront, where a series of fine dining seafood restaurants await your enjoyment. The surrounding streets feature some of Cape Town's most celebrated restaurants while the vibrant cafes of Bree Street are within a 15-minute walk. South Africa Travel Review: Cape Town, Table Mountain, Safari, 10-Day Trip

Our trip was absolutely AMAZING!! Zicasso’s travel specialist was always quick to respond to all of our questions and worked to design a trip within our budget. All of the arrangements he made for us were just perfect.

We loved all of the accommodations and the private guides in Cape Town for the day tour and hike up Table Mountain were both great.

The safari accommodations and guides were just incredible. The staff at both lodges were so kind and attentive! We saw the Big Five (more than once) and couldn’t believe how close we were able to get to the animals.

Overall, the trip exceeded our expectations!

The communication and service she provided were excellent and I just wish she was the person who could plan all of our vacations. We did Cape Town, Kruger, Zimbabwe, and Botswana, and it was the ultimate bucket-list trip. Her plan made it the best vacation ever!!!

South Africa Tour Review: Cape Town, Safari, Elephant Sanctuary, 12 Days

Zicasso’s travel specialist was fantastic. She was very knowledgeable, responsive, accessible, nurturing, and professional. We had a relatively short planning duration for our trip, so decisions were on an accelerated timeline, but she was on top of all of our dates and connections, required documents, etc. She answered so many of our questions and made so many recommendations. My aunt and I felt completely at ease, from the time we landed in Cape Town until we flew home.

The tours, drivers, lodging, and safaris that the travel specialist chose for us were perfect. I've already recommended her to a friend for a future trip and I recommend her to anyone looking for a once-in-a-lifetime trip that is customized to your budget and timeframe.
