Customizable Itinerary
Matusadona National Park – The Luxury of Lake Kariba
The tranquil waters of Lake Kariba respond to their nickname as Africa’s Riviera, rippling gently towards rugged cliffs and hidden islands. At first glance, the lake seems to be a classic escape, where tranquility reigns and you can quickly overcome any jet lag. But this is Zimbabwe, so you won’t be alone. Hippos barge across the lake, a host of monkeys occupy the surrounding trees, and you’re never far from buffalo and a vast array of antelopes. Sit back at your camp and the safari has already started. But after the chartered flight from Harare, you can tailor the afternoon to your ideas of exploration, with a choice of boat and canoeing trips, game drives and walks in Matusadona National Park. So if you’re ready to get close, this first day will quickly introduce you to the enormity of Africa’s mammals.

Words cannot begin to describe the experiences we had on our African adventure, but I will try.
While we have traveled extensively, this was indeed the "trip of a lifetime." Seeing the wildlife so close you could almost reach out and touch them (although we were certainly told to keep all arms and legs inside the safari vehicles!) was an experience not to be missed. The guides were beyond passionate and knowledgeable. We gained a greater appreciation for nature and the way of the wild. The African sunrises and sunsets are simply magical.
As far as the trip planning, everything was seamless and we had so many bespoke experiences that I cannot imagine we would have ever been able to plan and execute on our own. The lodges were fantastic, in gorgeous locations, and we met many like-minded travelers during shared dinners. The helicopter flight over Victoria Falls was breathtaking. The villa in Mozambique was over-the-top and a perfect way to end our trip to try to process all that we experienced during our three-week experience.
The planning process was easy, we were kept well informed of our options, and once the trip was closer, communication with the team at Zicasso's travel company answered our last-minute questions perfectly.
We will absolutely be recommending this travel company to our friends who want to do this itinerary next year.

This was an unforgettable trip that my wife and I will always cherish. It was our second time visiting Cape Town and we truly enjoyed exploring different parts of the city that we hadn’t seen before.
I highly recommend experiencing a safari at Matetsi in Zimbabwe. It was absolutely incredible. While in Zimbabwe, a visit to Victoria Falls is an absolute must.
Zicasso's travel planner and her team were fantastic, addressing any concerns we had and recommending excellent restaurants for dinner, which made our experience even more special.

Five stars plus!! We interviewed various consultants about this “trip of a lifetime” and landed on Zicasso’s travel specialist. We'd never used a consultant to schedule travel before, so it was a new experience to us. Oh my gosh. Every single detail was meticulous. The camps she recommended, the amazing staff at each place, the spot-on transport in between, the “bush” flights, the overnight hotel in Vic Falls, everything was beyond amazing. Perfect. We literally could not be happier.
And then there was the actual “safari” part of it all. Our guides and trackers were exceptional, the wildlife viewing was phenomenal. The meals were excellent. Can you tell I'm raving? And wanting a re-do?! I would highly recommend the travel specialist, our travel concierge, and this travel company to anyone!! Truly a trip of a lifetime. Thank you!

We just returned from a fantastic two-week trip to Africa, coordinated by our Zicasso travel agent. We started in South Africa (Cape Town/Franschhoek), then went up to Zimbabwe (Victoria Falls), and to Botswana (Chobe National Park and Okavango Delta). Every step of the trip was well coordinated and seamless. The guides and accommodations were fantastic and comfortable.
I can't say enough positive things about our travel agent. She is the most detail-oriented and responsive travel agent I have ever worked with. She has extensive knowledge of travel in Africa and was able to provide outstanding recommendations for every question we had for her. She checked in with us regularly during the trip to make sure everything was going well, which was greatly appreciated. She genuinely cared about providing us with the best experience possible. I highly recommend using her and her agency if you are thinking about traveling to Africa!

It was a transcendent experience. Planning with Zicasso's travel agent was a joy. The accommodations were first class, the experiences were first rate, and the food was fabulous. The only thing I would change which was a big thing was 4 3/4 of our 11 day trip being devoted to Victoria Falls. It was the only reason I don’t give it a 5. In Zimbabwe, we weren’t allotted enough to keep us interested in that we like to go go go when we travel. What we did could have been accomplished in two days and we could have had another day on safari.
