I have traveled to over 30 countries, several multiple times, and have usually used a travel company to plan and execute it. I have never had such an amazing experience with my travel company as I did with Zicasso’s, in particular, my tour planner.

From the very beginning of planning to landing back on the ground at home, my agent was responsive within minutes, incredibly effective, and most gracious, friendly, and kind. Our trip to Provence and the Loire Valley in France was spectacular, including unique luxury hotels, unforgettable sights, and amazing food.

One of the most appreciated features of working with my agent and his company was their dedication to our satisfaction and great flexibility to meet our needs. A couple of days into the trip, I decided I wanted a major change in the itinerary based on someone's recommendation and our agent worked it out within hours. At one point, when we had a tight connection in travel, he even showed up at the train station to make sure we did not miss our connection. Working with him and this company will be part of the memories we carry with us about the spectacular trip.

From the very beginning, Zicasso’s tour operator was very attentive to our travel desires and created the perfect plan for us. She kept us updated on the details as we planned a year in advance of our trip. Her knowledge of the hotels, restaurants, and tours available was invaluable. We are so grateful for her guidance.

The accommodations were very nice, and were all located within walking distance to all of the venues, Eiffel Tower, museums ,etc that we wanted to visit.  Paris- the Musee d' Orsay was a most wonderful Art Museum.  The building was magnificent, and the traffic pattern was such that it was easy to see only the venues that was interesting to me.  The Louve was a nightmare to try find stairs to get to any area of interest.  Seeing the Mona Lisa was a highlight however.Venice - was amazing.  So nice to have only foot traffic through all of the alleyways, and the gondola ride through all of the waterways was magnificent. Florence - I loved seeing David by Michelangelo, and all of his partially finished sculptures, and the narrative by the guide was great.  Loved seeing the Venus de Milo, The Birth of Venus, etc.However, the Uffizi art museum was 2/3 under construction and a complete waste of effort.  The Accademia was great.The day long trip from Florence to the coastal towns of Cinque de Terra was very well done.  Great driver full of information.  Beautiful scenery.  Delicious fish and pasta lunch.  The boat couldn't dock, so we had more train rides and walking than normal.  I am 80 years old, and should have stopped for some sustenance in the afternoon.  We walked 14000 steps that day up and down the hilled towns.  I almost ran out of gas in the afternoon.  You might warn people to bring water and a snack in the afternoon for energy.All in all I would not change many things on our trip.  Thank you!

When we decided to visit France, we hired Zicasso’s tour company to plan the trip. The company’s travel agent listened closely to our travel objectives. Activities included tours led by extremely well-informed private guides, a cooking class with a talented chef, and wine tastings. The guides expanded our knowledge and thus our enjoyment of the sights, culture, history, and wines of France.

Just as important as providing a roadmap for our adventure was our agent’s ever-present support throughout that adventure. When we encountered logistical obstacles, she helped us navigate through them. She made herself available at all times of the day and night, and bailed us out of challenging situations. In sum, we would highly recommend this tour company for your odyssey through France.

We had a wonderful trip to the Brittany and Normandy regions of France, planned by Zicasso’s travel agent. He was always available by phone, email, or text. We covered lots of ground with our wonderful driver. It really helped save time and hassle to get delivered right to our destination and have the car ready to take us to our next location when we were done. It was also delightful to relax and view the beautiful scenery as we drove through the countryside in comfort.

Our agent chose many wonderful itineraries for each day. We loved everything we saw and appreciated the various tour guides and activities he suggested for us.

Pre-Planning

I had not worked with Zicasso or its partner previously, so I had some trepidations. My travel contact soon became my trusted partner. It was full collaboration and communication right from the beginning. She became an advisor, educator, and, when necessary, a disciplinarian. She worked hard to keep me on schedule – thank you!

By the time I was preparing to leave, all details were solidified, with access to every step via an online app which also gave me 24/7 access to the travel team.

The Itinerary and the People

Although there was a predetermined (by me) itinerary, there was also flexibility. I never felt “pigeon-holed”. Ninety-eight percent went as planned, without a hitch. The drivers and guides were all on time and so helpful. Both went out of their way to assure our comfort and safety.

In my case, I walk with a cane to support a degenerative back and a slight ataxia. I frequently needed a little extra, like carrying my bags, arranging for a wheelchair when necessary and just offering a smile and a hand to assist getting in and out of the car.

I can't say enough amazing things about working with Zicasso's travel partners! They met and exceeded all of our expectations as they helped my wife and I plan our dream honeymoon to London and Croatia in June. They were there every step of the way and left no stone unturned regarding coordination, communication, and execution. From the beginning, their team asked thoughtful and in-depth questions to really learn about the things we would like to do, while giving their honest opinion on any idea we had. All of their third-party travel partners, who assisted us along the way in each location, were also amazing. My husband and I just returned from a fabulous trip to France, organized through Zicasso. Our agent was very easy to work with and definitely tailored the tours to our interests.

The private guides, especially, were all extremely knowledgeable and obviously loved what they were doing. The hotels were centrally located and the drivers were all dependable and on time.

Due to mobility concerns, our agent also seamlessly handled some late changes to our itinerary and recommended a great alternative for a tour that would not have worked for us.

I especially liked the app that organized everything by day and consolidated all the transfers, train tickets, hotel, and tour information into one easily accessible place on my phone.
