We have returned from our 11-day, three-city tour of Italy and it was nothing short of amazing. The Zicasso travel partner made this bucket-list trip a dream. Our agent and her team were so attentive to our every need and idea. They were there at a moment's notice through WhatsApp and were always on top of everything. They created such a network of organized expertise, communication skills, and a "worry-free" personal touch that we thought we were celebrities! The itinerary was so carefully planned just for us. We are an older couple and our agent knew just what we could handle and enjoy.

We stayed in Venice, Florence, Pisa, and Rome. She had every day scheduled for us and every event was prearranged, which we loved. We wanted to explore and experience Italy for our first time without having to worry about hotels, taxis, reservations, and long lines. Our agent and her team made sure we were taken care of every moment. They were also very available for any changes that came up, for instance, a sudden rain downpour on one of our tours. They were there to swoop us away and get us to the hotel safely.

Their drivers were so polite and professional, and did such a fantastic job making sure we arrived at all of our meeting points. The tour guides were so knowledgeable, friendly, and willing to take time to teach us so much about the places we were visiting.

The hotels were all very good. We loved all the wonderful views and the service was exceptional. They also had some of the best breakfasts we've ever had.

Our agent was just amazing at running the whole show. She was way ahead with her attention to every detail and her compassion to help her customers enjoy their special vacation. We cannot say enough about our Italy trip and the travel teams at Zicasso and our agency. We are telling all our friends and family to definitely look them up for their next trip!

We couldn't have asked for a better trip to Italy! It was the right pace and really catered to our interests. Zicasso’s trip planner took the time to really get to know what we liked and honed in on that to enhance our experience. The seamless connections and transfers made traveling so carefree and relaxed. There were no hitches or interruptions. Everything ran on time or her guides and drivers were early and waiting for us. If we had a change or requested a time change, she was great about getting what we wanted and staying in touch. That made such a difference.

Our trip started out on a negative note with a delayed luggage issue that was not the fault of the tour company, but still caused some stress. Airline delays have made all of our travel this year uncomfortable.

My wife and I were celebrating our 50th wedding anniversary, so we are not young, but are pretty fit and capable for our ages. If I had it to do over, I would have relaxed the pace a bit. That being said, all our drivers and guides were personable, knowledgeable, and friendly.

The tours were interesting, although the ones on Sicily were a little redundant since they were all based on the history of multiple conquerors and cultures.

The schedules were all on time and never rushed.

Our Zicasso agent was great and even called to check on Ruth when she heard she took a fall at Pompeii.

Our trip was such a beautiful, seamless experience. All transfers between trains, planes, and hotels were coordinated, making our travels to various cities simple. The three hotels were a good fit for our family. The tour guides and experiences that were scheduled were fantastic. Each tour guide was knowledgeable and friendly, and made our time that much more special.

From our initial contact until after our return, our experience with Zicasso’s tour company was simply exceptional. Please know that before we even had that initial contact, we knew we wanted to go to Italy, but we were starting with a blank slate on what we wanted to do and see, and how we wanted to package it. We did an extensive amount of research on potential travel options to Italy. I had traveled to Europe before and usually made my way around on my own. For my wife, this would be her first time overseas.

We looked at every option out there for group tours, large and small, as well as traveling on our own. There were pros and cons to each. Group tours offered structure for hitting the prime tourist spots without too much angst on our part, but not the flexibility to do exactly what we wanted when we wanted to do it. Traveling on our own enabled us to travel exactly as we wanted, but also meant we needed to carry the burden of planning all the details and the stress of making it happen, and dealing with the inevitable issues that always arise.

We ultimately decided we wanted to go to Rome, Tuscany, and the Amalfi Coast. We had two weeks altogether, so having three spots to visit meant we would have some time in each destination to see and do things without being rushed. But we couldn’t find a good answer for how to arrange it all.

Then we found Zicasso and, through them, selected this agency. It specializes in Italy and our agent and her team know the country and the travel business there so well. We shared our high-level itinerary with her and she came back with a plan to make it happen and, frankly, a more specific itinerary that blew us away. Lodging options, private tour options mapped out over each day, all travel to and from spots while in Italy cared for… the plan they put together showed a depth of understanding we would never have arrived at on our own, while offering the ability to customize plans the way we wanted that we would not have been able to do on a group tour.

Plus, they included a concierge service level with our point of contact in Italy. This proved to be so beneficial throughout our trip. Our contact was outstanding, consistently going above and beyond. They offer a simple-to-use travel app that was updated in real time so we were always informed. And of course, we compared pricing against other firms and the pricing was also reasonable for the level of service we would be receiving.

The end result was a dream vacation for us. We saw and did everything we wanted to and were able to enjoy it by hitting the easy button because the agency was doing the heavy lifting of pulling it all together. As exciting as the plan was, living it each day was amazing – walking out of our hotel as our personal driver showed up to take us to the day’s event or destination; personal guides who were all so professional, knowledgeable, and accommodating; hotels that were top-notch… all of it made for such a memorable experience.

As good as they are at doing what they do, the best part of working with this agency was the people. They’re a small firm that clearly evidences a high standard for customer service at a very personal level. We could not have asked for more and highly recommend them.

Our travel agent was amazing in planning our trip for five. Our hotels were comfortable and within walking distance to restaurants and many sites. Our drivers were on time and personable. Even when our train was part of a strike, he was able to arrange a driver from Florence to Sorrento in a short time. We had his support before and during our trip; he knew exactly what we were looking for. Overall, I would highly recommend Zicasso's travel partner.
