Zicasso’s travel specialist planned a wonderful trip for me and my sisters. He arranged five different private tours with guides, and each was spectacular. The guides were experts in their fields and we learned so much. The accommodations he selected were perfect and the locations could not have been better for what we wanted to do. The travel specialist was very responsive and even helped us get my sister's phone back after it fell out of her pocket in a cab. I would highly recommend the travel specialist and the travel company to anyone who asked.

The team at Zicasso’s tour operator extended an incredible amount of patience and willingness to flex with some very last-minute and unexpected obstacles to my travel. Accommodations, tours, reservations, and ground transportation all required changes; the tour operator handled these concerns with prompt attention, courtesy, and professionalism.
During initial planning, my needs were thoroughly considered and the tour operator made excellent recommendations as we built an exciting itinerary. From my arrival to Italy through my departure, the accommodations, companies, and vendors chosen by the tour operator all contributed to a true luxury experience.

A month later and we are still reminiscing over the amazing family vacation we had to Barcelona and Costa Brava. The unique sights, tour experts, delicious foods, cozy accommodations... none of this would have happened (quite literally) without Zicasso’s travel specialist.
Our vacation started with multiple flight delays and interruptions that delayed the start of our trip by nearly three days. Our travel specialist was in constant communication with us as she simultaneously helped reschedule our tour details and accommodations. All the while, she was always optimistic and genuinely happy to help us. I cannot express my appreciation for our travel specialist's help managing our schedule in Spain so I did not have to worry about those details while we worked to get our family's stressful travel situation resolved.
Our accommodations for myself, my husband, and our two teenagers were wonderful. Our travel specialist managed to find us a boutique hotel experience that fit well for our teenagers and ourselves. Every detail was turnkey and if we had questions, our travel specialist was quick to respond.
A few highlights of the trip:
Sagrada Família: We booked these tickets months in advance and missed our tour due to the flight delays. Our travel specialist managed against all odds to get us tickets and book us with the most incredible guide. If you are traveling to Barcelona, this is an absolute must-see. Stunningly beautiful. See as many Gaudí attractions as you can. There is nothing like his work and artistry.
Cadaqués day trip: If we return, I would definitely spend more time in this beautiful coastal town. Our guide grew up in the area and was very knowledgeable. We had a driver as well, which worked great, so we could relax and take in the scenic views. Salvador Dalí's home is also worth the visit! On our return, we stopped in Figueres to peruse the Dalí Museum which, all four of us greatly enjoyed.
On our last day, we went sailing, which was a first for us. Our captain was friendly and knowledgeable of the area. Our travel specialist organized a picnic for us, which was delicious. I'm still thinking about the gazpacho! We stopped at multiple locations to snorkel and use the paddle board.
Although our travels started out a bit rough, I am so glad we went and had the unforgettable experiences that we did. Thank you to the travel company and specifically our travel specialist! We are truly grateful for all the time and effort you put into making our family vacation so special.

From our first phone call with Zicasso's travel specialist, it was clear that we were on the same wavelength with respect to what we sought from this trip, and she made it even better with her suggestions. She was always very quick to respond to our questions and input, and overall we were really thrilled with the itinerary she put together. The result was that Spain turned out to be even better than we had expected!
The schedule was excellent, including using Madrid and Seville as the bases for day trips. Our visit to Tangier, Morocco, was particularly terrific. We had never before entertained such a visit because of health and security concerns, but when we expressed some curiosity, she wholeheartedly encouraged us. Most importantly, she provided a personal guide who was wonderful. Our guide ensured we could experience a bit of the culture, avoid any problems, enjoy a delicious meal, and get our first camel rides!
Throughout our journey, she secured admission tickets to palaces, fortresses, museums, etc., in advance, and we never had to wait in lines. During our travels, she also provided four tour guides. All were excellent: professional, friendly, and knowledgeable. We very much enjoyed every one of them. That goes as well for the private driver she arranged. Our driver not only conveyed us to and from the ferry terminal for our trip to Tangier, but also from Seville to Ronda and on to Granada.
She also introduced us to a travel app. It was extremely easy to use, allowed us to have our itinerary and tickets with us at all times, and enabled us to communicate with her and her staff instantly, which we did whenever a question cropped up. A great resource that we hope to have on future journeys.
Finally, the hotels she chose. Overall, their locations, staff, service, and breakfasts were first-rate. As an example, we never had any trouble getting ice every night for sore knees following our day’s explorations. On the other hand, we feel we should note that one hotel in Granada had a subpar breakfast and that the front-desk staff at one hotel in Seville did not stand out. Lastly, although she had nothing to do with it, she and her clients should know that the taxi service in Seville was tenuous as a general matter when it came to our time-sensitive transportation needs. We did not miss any entry time or event, but the hotel confirmed that the norm in that city is to call for a ride with no certainty of getting picked up on a timely basis.
But we cannot end with that. Our experiences in Spain were exceptional and very meaningful thanks to her. Whenever the subject comes up with our friends, we will be sure to recommend her and Zicasso for a wonderful trip.

The trip was great — six cities in 15 days. Zicasso’s travel specialist was wonderful. She tried hard to adhere to our budget wishes when planning the trip and was there if we needed her while traveling. The excursions we booked were good as well. Hotels chosen were also well done. Overall, if traveling in this region again, we will work with them.

Our trip to Northern Spain, meticulously arranged by Zicasso’s travel specialist, was nothing short of phenomenal. It exceeded all our expectations and provided an unforgettable experience.
From the outset, the travel specialist dedicated an incredible amount of time to ensuring that every aspect of the trip was personalized and tailored to our preferences. He thoroughly researched the best location near our accommodation to experience the eclipse. He discovered a charming small church perched on a hill amidst vast farmland, offering an ideal vantage point. To enhance the experience, he organized a delightful picnic where we could savor snacks during the eclipse. Everything went perfectly!
We stayed in four cities: Ezcaray, San Sebastián, Barcelona, and Madrid during our trip. Each city offered its own unique charm and attractions. The travel specialist provided exceptional personal guides who ensured we had a seamless and enriching experience. He also arranged for day trips to nearby towns, allowing us to explore the region’s hidden gems. Additionally, he made excellent restaurant recommendations, ensuring we indulged in wonderful local cuisine. The hotel selections recommended by the travel specialist were exceptional.
Overall, our trip to Northern Spain was nothing short of extraordinary. Our travel specialist’s exceptional service and attention to detail made it an unforgettable journey that we will cherish for years to come.
