Mediterranean Travel Guide

The trip was superbly organized and Zicasso’s travel company was very professional, and demonstrated great care to ensure we had the kind of trip we envisioned.

We have used Zicasso affiliates several times and this was one of the best. They tailored a creative program in Casablanca, Fes, Rabat, and Marrakech to our likes, needs, and abilities, and modified it as needed before and after the trip began.

The guides were very good on the whole. Two of the three hotels were outstanding and the third was excellent. We couldn’t have had a more punctual, careful, or informative driver. We even met one of the owners of the company for a coffee. He went out of his way to make our stay special, safe, and secure.

We couldn't have asked for a better tour guide and company. Our travel agent really saved our trip. We reached out just a few weeks before our 11-day visit to the country. We were so impressed at how well he listened to what we wanted to do, as well as our challenges with trying to meet up with our daughter. Despite that, he was able to pull together a magnificent itinerary for Rabat, Tangier, Marrakech, and the Atlas Mountains.

We needed a driver the whole time and our driver was so much more than that. The riads our travel agent found, the restaurants, and the cultural experiences were just perfect. Plus, we had ample downtime. The guides were knowledgeable and accommodating to our requests.

From the minute we arrived in Rabat to the moment we left, we felt in good hands. We are so grateful to their expertise and to Zicasso for connecting us to such an excellent person and company. I had been hesitant to book a trip to France because of the difficulty of language. I had the opportunity to visit friends in Nantes and Bordeaux, but wanted to take a tour of Paris first. I needed help with transportation to and from the airport, to our hotel, and to and from the Paris train stations. I also wanted to take tours to a few iconic landmarks. The Zicasso company helped with all these requests and also gave us a driver and guides to some of the landmarks. With all this support from Zicasso, we had a seamless itinerary and a most wonderful and magical time in Paris.

We had a fabulous trip to Italy, including to Sorrento, Taormina, and Rome. Zicasso’s travel specialist made sure every detail was taken care of, including stays in beautiful, well-located hotels and excursions that were interesting and fun for our family.

For example, she arranged for an airport host to assist us with our arrival to and departure from the Rome airport, and she was simply amazing, whisking us through the airport and eliminating stress for our family.

Planning the trip with him was delightful. He listened carefully during our initial call and we had several conversations and emails to design the itinerary. His recommendations were spot-on and he was very flexible and supportive of our requested modifications, and incredibly responsive. It was an excellent experience planning the trip!

We LOVED the travel app he uses—it was truly helpful during the time we were in Spain. Everyone in our family really appreciated it!

When on the ground in Spain, we were in texting contact with him throughout the trip, including requesting additional add-on experiences the day before, which he made happen, and other small and meaningful adjustments! All of the drivers and guides selected were on time, professional, with deep knowledge, and delightful and fun to be with.
